Ductwork, filtration & ventilation
Our damp air, handled properly.
Coastal damp, wildfire smoke in August, pollen in spring. We clean and seal ductwork, add MERV-13 or HEPA filtration, balance airflow, and install HRVs that bring in fresh air without throwing away your heat.

Questions
Ducts & air quality: the straight answers.
How often should ducts be cleaned?
Every 5–7 years for most homes, sooner after a renovation, if you have pets, or if you've found mould.
Will a better filter help with wildfire smoke?
Yes. A MERV-13 filter catches most fine smoke particles. Run the fan continuously on smoky days.
What's an HRV?
A heat recovery ventilator swaps stale indoor air for fresh outdoor air and moves the heat across, so you don't pay to warm the fresh air.
